Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead boasts a beastly 710 hp HEMI, and accelerates more like a sportscar than an SUV.

After much speculation reverberating across the internet earlier this year regarding Dodge potentially discontinuing its Durango Hellcat model after 2024, the automaker surprised us yet again by extending its Hellcat offering by one more year.

The Dodge brand of Stellantis in Auburn Hills has introduced a new special-edition model of what it calls “the most powerful SUV ever” — the 710-horsepower 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead.

The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat was supposed to be a one-year-only special edition in 2021. Here we are heading into model year 2025 and not only is the Durango Hellcat still standing, it's the only Hellcat left.

Dodge has three special-edition Durangos to mark the 20th anniversary of the Hemi V-8's use in the SUV nameplate.
